 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I rented "Grandpa's Barn" for a baby shower for my son and his wife, sight unseen. This "barn" turned out to be the PERFECT place. Stephanie, Steve and John are the kindest people to speak to and so very helpful. The place was exceptionally clean and everything was readily available for use. I didnt take a lot of pictures but trust me, it is beautiful. They have a Bluetooth radio built in for use or you can tune into your favorite station. The bathrooms are large and very clean. The kitchen offered the space that we needed. As beautiful as the inside was, it was outside on the deck where everyone wanted to be, even as hot as it was. It is a covered deck that overlooks the grounds and its breathtakingly beautiful. I LOVED the country feel it had to it. Steve told me that a leasing company had decided to update it to the modern stuff (sinks and faucets, etc.) But I pray they bring back the hand pump faucets and river rock sinks. My family was very pleased and this is our new venue spot. Unless its booked, we will not rent from anyone else. Thank you all so much and I am excited to plan our next event. We had approximately 150 guests attend this event. Steve and Betsy were outstanding hosts, and graciously allowed us plenty of time to decorate the venue ahead of time. From the moment we booked, Steve and Betsy were so kind, organized, and so helpful every step of the way. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and made our day feel so special. Everything ran smoothly, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.We also stayed at the lodge all weekend, and it made the whole experience even more special. It was relaxing, comfortable, and the perfect place to spend time with our family and friends before and after the wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how gorgeous everything was.
